The area offers many attractions. The most famous being the miniature steam trains which run a public service between Dungeness and Hythe. Others include: 10 miles of blue flag sandy seashore, for fishing, (see dymchurch-angling.co.uk) boating, kite surfing, donkey rides, swimming, etc. 3 golf courses, village pubs, restaurants, views from the surrounding hills, cross channel ferries, the channel tunnel, walking, cycling (no hills), shopping in the nearby towns, bird watching at Dungeness where you can buy local fish if you can't catch your own.
Also some of the facilities of the neighbouring holiday park are open to the public, ie. swimming pool, shops.
